The three-day Offshore Super Series National Championship race event will run Sept. 28-30 on a six-mile, 16-lap course between the 6- and 9-mile markers. The race will be headquartered at the Horny Toad Entertainment Complex.  These are the big boys that go reeeeal fast, like Dave Scott and the Bud Select offshore race team. 

The Offshore Super Series (OSS) is an offshore powerboat racing organization founded in December 2003 by 30 of the top offshore race boat teams.  Here’s a link to their official site.

This combined with the Lake Rescue Shootout (the Old Shooters Shootout) will really help to solidify the Lake of the Ozarks as a powerboating Lake.  The Lake Select Group wants to invite anyone wishing to visit the Lake of the Ozarks for this event to give them a call for any lodging or other real estate or boating related requests.
