Osage Beach Waterfront homes still selling well
Well, fewer homes are selling in Osage Beach, and prices are still skyrocketing up! The average price per square foot went up 31% from 2005 to 2006. The number of sales actually decreased about 15%, yet the dollar volume was almost unchanged.

The rise in value of waterfront lots, and the huge spike in building costs mean that replacement costs alone will drive the price up at the Lake of the Ozarks. Not to mention the baby boomer retirement demographic that has fueled the recent boom in commercial property in Osage Beach. With older baby boomers just now reaching 60 years of age, and younger boomers in their early 40s, the lifestyle preference of boomers will figure prominently into future demand for vacation homes.
